The WNBA is up and running again in similar fashion to the NBA. The twelve teams will each play 22 games. The Liberty are in complete rebuild mode with a team consisting of almost all rookies. With the Liberty’s first draft pick Sabrina Ionescu out players like Zahui B, Clarendon, and Kia Nurse are going to have to step up. The Liberty enjoyed their first win of the season Friday against Washington, followed by a heartbreaking loss yesterday to Las Vegas. The Liberty sit 1-6 in last place in their conference. Their next game is tommorow evening against The Sparks. The Liberty have a huge arsenal of young talents, you can see them grow with every game they play. Win or lose these girls are determined and hungry to get playing time, I look forward to watching them over the next month.
