MLB is three weeks in
These first three weeks haven certainly had their ups and downs, as well as confusion. The Cubs are the top team in the league, both teams in last year’s world series have losing records, Cespedes briefly disappeared before opting out, two teams had practically their whole teams infected with Covid, and this wasnt even a third of the season! The Yankees are their usual winning selves with their quest to be world champions, Mets are their usual almost at the playoffs but not quite, these teams will face off later this month. In this modified season the Yankees will only being playing games against teams from the N.L. East and A.L. East. Looking at the teams each of the New York clubs will play their are some fierce competitors. The Braves and Yankees definitely pose as the two powerhouses between these 10 teams, Rays are another team to watch out for, the underdogs who are performing quite well would include The Marlins and Orioles, then you get to the lower tier with the sub-par Nats, and the even worse Mets, Phillies, Bluejays, and especially RedSox. In my opinion the teams that will make it to the playoffs out of these 10 include The Braves, Yankees, Ray’s, Orioles, and you might call me crazy but the Mets too! What’s the one thing holding the Yankees back from a title? How will the Mets make a run into the postseason? Did the Yankees make the right move booting Joe Girardi?
