The NHL has been turned on its head

The NHL resumed this July with 24 teams. Only 8 teams remain. The Rangers got swept by the hurricanes in the first round. In my opinion we didn’t play our best hockey until midway through game 3 and by then it was too late. Another first round shock was the Canadians besting Pittsburgh in only 4 games. I think the Penguins ultimately underestimated The Habs and they took advantage of that, the first round had some shocks as well such as the Islanders embarrassing the Capitals, and the Canucks knocking off the defending champions. The Avalanche slaughtered the Coyotes in an uncompetitive series. The Flyers beat the Canadians but not easily, Boston easily won a highly anticipated series, and the most memorable quintuple overtime game featuring the Blue Jackets and the Lighting. But now we’re down to the final 8. Dallas is close to a surprising 2 game leaf over Colorado. The Islanders embarrassed yet another team tonight the Flyers, they beat Philly 4-0 despite the shot tally being almost identical. The Golden Knights slaughtered the last Canadian team alive and looks as though Vancouver will be a walk in the park for them. However, I haven’t yet mentioned my pick to win it all, curious who it is? Check out my podcast WFAN THE KID to find out! I will be posting this segment tommorow afternoon be sure to check it out!
